At Spring Gully Conservation Park (opens in a new tab), steep and undulating ground leads into the Spring Gully creek bed. It is a free place to stretch your legs beyond the Clare Valley cellar doors.

Walk to Blue Gum Lookout

From Blue Gum Lookout, walk through grassy woodland to a seasonal waterfall. After rain, water can plunge 18 metres, so treat the waterfall as a weather-dependent highlight.

Picnic and look out for wildlife

Bring a picnic and look for spring wildflowers and orchids. You may see western grey kangaroos, euros or common brushtail possums. Choose footwear for uneven terrain and check current park conditions before visiting.
